Terms

Effective 22 September 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Saywork desktop application, the Saywork browser extension, getsaywork.com and any related services (together, the Services). By visiting getsaywork.com, or by downloading, installing, reinstalling, updating, opening or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

You must be 18 or over. Each time you visit the site or use the Services you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have reached the age of legal majority where you live, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. That representation is given afresh on each occasion, and continuing to use the Services after these Terms change is a fresh giving of it. We do not verify age and cannot; we rely on what you tell us. Agent Mode drives a computer using your own accounts and permissions, which is the reason the limit is 18 rather than the local minimum. See section 12 of the Privacy Policy.

1. Licence

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use the Services on devices you control, for personal or internal business purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the Services or any part of them; modify, translate or create derivative works of them; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble them except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted; remove or obscure any proprietary notice; or use them to build or improve a competing product or service.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Services, or any feature of them, at any time and without liability. We may also impose or change limits on use at any time.

The software includes third-party components under their own licences. THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES ships with the application and lists every one of them, including the models.

2. What the Services do on your device

Agent Mode types, clicks, opens applications and browses websites as you, using your own logged-in sessions. That is the product, and it carries a real consequence: anything it does is done with your identity and your permissions.

Those are safeguards, not guarantees. Software that operates a computer can operate it wrongly. You are responsible for what it does under your account, so give it work where being wrong is survivable until you know how it behaves.

3. Third-party services

The Services depend on third-party speech recognition and language model providers, and on hosting and delivery providers. Which providers are used, and how they are paid for, may change at any time and without notice. Where you supply your own credentials for a provider, you are responsible for that account, for what is billed to it, and for complying with that provider's terms.

What those providers do with what they receive is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for what is transmitted and to whom.

4. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Saywork is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It will get things wrong. It may misread a screen, mishear a sentence, or stop halfway. The proof rule exists so that when it cannot confirm something happened it says so rather than claiming it did — but a system that reports its own failures honestly is still a system that fails.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that any result they report is correct.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA OR WORK, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, and in those the exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnity. You will indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, liability, damage, loss and expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Services, from anything the Services do under your account or at your direction, from your breach of these Terms, or from your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party.

5. Fees

The plans shown on the site are indicative and are not an offer. No payment system, account or subscription is currently operated. We may introduce, change or withdraw paid plans, features, usage limits and prices at any time. Any tier currently offered at no charge may be changed or withdrawn on notice.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Saywork to break the law, to break the terms of a service you are pointing it at, to impersonate somebody, to send bulk unsolicited messages, or to interfere with anyone's systems. Automating your own work is the point; automating an attack on somebody else is not.

7. Updates

The app checks for new versions and offers them. You choose whether to install. Old installers stay published, so you can go back to a version that worked for you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the application; deleting its folder in your user profile removes what it has written locally. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, including for breach of these Terms. Sections 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 and any provision which by its nature should survive, survive termination.

9. Changes, governing law and disputes

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version, which takes effect when posted unless stated otherwise. Where a change is material we will make reasonable efforts to give notice. Your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Montana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live that cannot be waived by agreement.

If any provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them freely. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Services and supersede any prior understanding.
